Introduction:
This lab is divided into 3 parts. The first part is all about learning to upgrade RAM
and HDD in a Lenovo T410 laptop as it is easier to upgrade the RAM and HDD because the
bottom cover does not have to be removed. Then, we’ll analyze the laptop’s motherboard.
Finally, we will check out the modern UEFI BIOS, on new PCs from Gibabyte and ASUS.

Part 1: Remove RAM and HDD

Reflection:
In this lab, we delved into disassembling and reassembling a Lenovo T410, gaining
practical insights into the intricate components of a laptop. The process of taking it apart and
putting it back together provided a hands-on understanding of the laptop's internal structure
and taught us about the interconnections and placements of various elements. It also helps in
developing skills related to troubleshooting and potential repairs. Exploring the motherboard
highlighted its critical role, and navigating the modern UEFI BIOS on Gigabyte and PCs
added a layer of familiarity with advanced computer systems which was the most interesting
part of this lab. Overall, the lab was a valuable exercise, offering practical skills and a better
grasp of laptop internals.
