proprietor is required to keep a register show

10. HANDLING OF Goops.—(a) Goods intended for a Duty-free Shop are to be released from the
Quays or—in the case of excisable goods, from the factory—on warehousing entries and the normal, ware-
housing procedurefollowed, including the issue of Certificates of Warehousing. |
(6) At the time of purchase of any goods from a Duty-free Shop, a Purchase Invoice is to be completed
in triplicate andtheoriginal delivered to the purchaser. Thereverse of the travelling ticket of the purchaser—
is to be suitably endorsed and stamped by the proprietor of the Duty-free Shop and the invoice quoted
thereon, The purchaseris invariably to be advised to produce the goods together with the original Purchase
Invoice to the Preventive Service Officer on duty at the ¢angwayof the aircraft at the time of embarkation.

(c) The duplicate copy of the Purchase Invoice is to be despatched through the Preventive Service
Officer in charge of the Baggage Floorto the officer scheduled to be on dutyat the gangwayof the aircraft
concerned. ‘

11. Rerurns.—(a) The return periods for every Duty-free Shop are :—

(i) from the 1st to the 7th,

(2) fromthe 8th to the 14th,

(111) from the 15th to the 21st,

(iv) from the 22nd to the end of every month. |

(6) At the end of every period the proprietor is required to submit an ex-warehouse export entry’showing
Particulars of all goods released during the period. Every entryis to be supported by a statement of aecount
showing particulars of all goods received into and released from the shop during the period.
Copies of
invoices on which goods were received into the shop are also to be attached. The whole return isi to be
submitted to the officer in charge of the accounts of the Duty-free Shop. ‘|

12. Warninc.—The proprietor of a Duty-free*Shop is liable to heavy penalties and withdrawaliof his
licence if goods are released to unauthorised persons,or if any entry or supporting documentis found, to be
false or incorrect in any material particulars or if any of the provisions of the Customs and Excise L, iws are
