INTERVIEWER: so okay so how many years have you been playing mobile legends?
INTERVIEWEE: So ive been---ive been playing mobile legends since tota—2019 so approximately its already 4
years.
INTERVIEWER: so do you still play mobile legends by now?
INTERVIEWEE: noooo
INTERVIEWER: noo so how much time do you spend on playing mobile legends before?
INTERVIEWEE: uhmm base on I think I remembered uhh the maximum time is thirty minutes.
INTERVIEWER: thirty minutes so you just spend one uhmm game?
INTERVIEWEE: uhmm it depends so—mostly some games are uh ends earlier than usual.
INTERVIEWER: uhh okay so can you describe your daily routine as a gamer?
INTERVIEWEE: so first when I woke up especially uhh I really need to eat and do some uhh house chores and
some important things such as uhmm doing my uhmm school activities and uhhmm some errands or like
important things too---important things to do first before I have to uhh spend my time with uhmm this game
—playing this game.
INTERVIEWER: so how did you know about mobile legends application?
INTERVIEWEE: uhmm actually since 2019 ive been seeing my classmates or like friends playing this app so I
was curious so I tried downloading it and tried it and until I got you know.
INTERVIEWER: is there someone who introduce this game to you?
INTERVIEWEE: noo umm its just all by myself.
INTERVIEWER: okay so after learning ml, what happened next?
INTERVIEWEE: so after ive learned playing this game I actually kinda—at first uhmm im really into it to the
point that uhmm I can call it that I was addicted before.
INTERVIEWER: so what motivates you to play mbile legends?
INTERVIEWEE; uhmm it actually motivates me too play this game because it actually uhmm you know uhh... it
I can enjoy it.
INTERVIEWER: so the thing that motivates you to play this game is the enjoyment that you get?
INTERVIEWEE: uhh and also of course, uhh the friendship that I can gain through it and uhh the some learning

INTERVIEWER: okay so do you have any unforgettable experiences during your journey in playing mobile
legends?
INTERVIEWEE: yes
INTERVIEWER: can you uhmm state it?
INTERVIEWEE: uhhhh uhh a one memorable thing that happened to me while playing this game is that uhmm
there is this one game that I was actually being ca—uhhmm complemented on how I play this game and how I
communicate with my teammates how I help them to work hard for uh work together to you know we can
achieve or like we can win this game.
INTERVIEWER: so does playing mobile legends help you in the followqing aspects: like in financial, in your
mental health, in managing your emotions, or in social---in socializing people?
INTERVIEWEE: when it comes to financial I don’t really spend money to it because its just a game so its like a
past time to me. When it comes to my mental health it actually helps me because uhmm uhh through it I can
uhmm think some or like I can learn something that can help me with my uhh at a when it comes to my.. Yahh
uh when it comes to my mental health and managing my emotions since im very uhh I do have this anger
issues lke I have this very emotionally unstable so through it I can actually help myself to train and control it.
INTERVIEWER: so how about in social like—socializing other people, does it help you?

INTERVIEWER: how about in social like in socializing with other people does it uhmm help you? In the--
INTERVIEWEE: it actually does help me to socialize people because uhmm I am actually a very introverted
person I like got really shy when It comes to approching someone or like uhh talking to anyone but through ml
I was able to you know—to learn how to communicate or to like connect with the uhh withmy teammates.
INTERVIEWER: okay so how do you feel about the competitive nature of the game, do you find it stressful?
INTERVIEWEE: its actually very stressful because you know uhh a lot of peers was very very competitive to the
point that they will do anything just to win and yes.
INTERVIEWER: so it uhmm it gives you pressure?
INTERVIEWEE: uhh yeah it really gives me pressure since uhmm most of us does uhmm you know wanted to of
course, we wanted to win so it really pressures everyone.
INTERVIEWER: are the characters one of the factors why you play this game?
INTERVIEWEE: uhh actually yes.
INTERVIEWER: ohh so in what aspects they affect you?
INTERVIEWEE: uhh in any asp--uhmmmm uhh most characters have these back stories to write so like uhmm
their stories like inspired me or like I was uhh I was really I was able to lie relate myself to them and I want to
you like uhmm to know them more or like to feel their emotions and to.
INTERVIEWER: okay so apparently uhhmmm the back stories or the back stories of the heroes or the
characters motivates you to keep on playing the game?
INTERVIEWEE: uhmm yes.
INTERVIEWER: okay so uhmm based on your experiences that you have shared with us, what are your insights
about ths game?
INTERVIEWEE: so I think ooo—uhh when playing this game its actually very not uhh a lot of youth especially
our generation today are very into uhh into this uhmm application so uhm for me when I realize that ths
application is not just a game it actually uhm helps uhmm youths also to develop more of there uhh socializing
skills and everything and al—o uhh also it also gives the—the uhmm the youth not just the youth but to
everyone both negative and positive impact on uhh to there lives and academics.
INTERVIEWER: so have this experiences given you any rera—realizations or learnings?
INTERVIEWEE: uhh actually yes.
INTERVIEWER: so can you tell us?
INTERVIEWEE: so the first thing that I have realize and uhh learn is that uhh not anytime like anytime you
wanted to win you will win because there are times you—you will lose and you and I also realize that uhh
communication uhh teamwork is very important for you to be able to achieve one goal or like to achieve your
uhmm to achieve your dream as a team.
INTERVIEWER: okay so uhmm do you have any advice for those people specially teenages who wanted to
engage themselves in playing mobile legends?
INTERVIEWEE: uhmm and advice uhhmmm uhmm I want them to uhmm to know or like to always remember
to play responsibly and not to push or uhh push theirselves to their limits to the point that they were going to
get ill or like uhh they will ruin their lives.
INTERVIEWER: okay so last question does playing mobile legends affect your academic performance?
INTERVIEWEE: no because if your uh if your playing responsibly your able—you will be able to balance your
academics and your past time.
