2023 澳大利亚数学测评（AMC）考生须知

一、 基本规则

1. 语言：中英文

2. 时间：2023 年 9 月 23 日（周六）

A&B 等级：10:00 - 11:00 （60 分钟）

C&D&E 等级：14:00 - 15:15 （75 分钟）

中途无休息，请考生合理安排考试时间

3. 地点：合作学校

4. 题型：选择题和填空题，共 30 道题

5. 难度说明：从小学到高中分为 5 个难度级别

• A–Middle Primary: 小学 3 至 4 年级

• B–Upper Primary: 小学 5 至 6 年级

• C–Junior: 初一至初二年级

• D–Intermediate: 初三至高一年级

• E–Senior: 高二至高三年级

注意：考生须在答题卡上准确填写考试等级和评奖年级（与准考证一致）

6. 评分标准：总分 135 分（不答或答错不扣分）。1-10 题，每题 3 分；11-20 题，每题 4 分；21-25 题，每

题 5 分；最后 5 道题，26、27、28、29、30 题，分别为 6 分、7 分、8 分、9 分和 10 分

7. 奖项设置：

全球奖项

• Peter O'Halloran 成就奖，满分的同学将获得该奖项

中国区奖项

• 卓越奖(Prize)：A-E 级别排名前 0.3%

• 一等奖 (High Distinction)：A - D 级别排名前 3% / E 级别排名前 5%

• 二等奖 (Distinction)：A - D 级别排名前 20% / E 级别排名前 25%

• 三等奖 (Credit)：A - D 级别排名前 55% / E 级别排名前 60%

• 数学技能奖（Proficiency）：总分超过既定分数线但没有获得优秀奖的同学（每年分数线会因为难度不同有

一定波动，平均在 32 分）

二、 入场要求

1. 入场时间：2023 年 9 月 23 日上午 9:30-9:45（A&B 等级）

2023 年 9 月 23 日下午 13:30-13:45（C&D&E 等级）

2. 允许携带：

(1) 有效身份证件、准考证、2B 铅笔、橡皮、签字笔和草稿纸；

(2) A&B 等级允许携带简单无编程计算器和纸质语言词典；

(3) C&D&E 等级允许携带纸质语言词典。

3. 严禁携带：

(1) 不允许携带智能手表、移动电话或其他电子设备。

(2) C&D&E 等级不允许携带任何形式的计算器。

三、 日程及注意事项

1. 考前一周（9 月 16 日）：

请考生登录“阿思丹国际理科测评”微信小程序 -【我的报名】-点击对应项目-【准考证下载】，点击【下载】

保存至手机相册，提前下载并打印，以便考试携带。

2. 考试当天：

(1) 所有考生拿到试卷及答题卡后，请检查有无破损或模糊不清，如有此类情况，请考生举手示意监考老师进行更

换，未报告者由本人承担一切后果。

(2) 考试开始信号发出，方可答题；考试开始 10 分钟后，任何考生不允许进入考场；考试结束前 15 分钟可交卷离

开考场。

(3) 考生在考场内须保持安静，不准喧哗，不可以交头接耳、旁窥、抄袭或有意让他人抄袭，不准传抄答案或交换

试卷；不得自行传递文具、用品等。

(4) 考试结束信号发出，考生务必立即停止答题，将试卷及答题卡放在桌上，坐好等待监考人员收回并清点数量，

经监考人员允许后方可离开考场，不得在考场附近逗留或交谈。

(5) 考生应自觉服从监考人员管理，不得以任何理由妨碍监考人员进行正常工作，对扰乱考场秩序、恐吓、威胁监

考人员的考生成绩视为无效。

注：如发现上述违规行为，阿思丹理科测评项目部有权取消考生考试资格，考试成绩将视为无效。

五、 结果公布

（1）结果将在考试结束后的 6-8 周通过“阿思丹国际理科测评”微信小程序公布，考生可登录“阿思丹国际理科测评”

微信小程序 -【我的报名】-点击对应项目-【成绩查询】及【证书下载】。

2023 Australian Mathematics Competition Instructions for Examinees

I. Competition Information
1. Language: English and Chinese

2. Date: Saturday 23 September, 2023 , A&B: 10:00-11:00am (60mins), C&D&E: 14:00-15:15pm (75mins)
3. Location: Partner School

4. Question type: Multiple choice and gap-filling questions, 30 questions in total

5. Difficulty: There are five levels

 A – Middle Primary (Grade 3–4)

 B – Upper Primary (Grade 5–6)

 C – Junior (Grade 7– 8)

 D – Intermediate (Grade 9–10)

 E – Senior (Grade 11–12)

Notes: Examinees must accurately fill in the level and grade on the answer sheet.(consistent with the Admission Ticket)
6. Scoring Criteria: Total score is 135 points. No penalties for wrong answers.
• Questions 1 to 10 are worth 3 points.
• Questions 11 to 20 are worth 4 points.
• Questions 21 to 25 are worth 5 points.
• Questions 26 to 30 are worth 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 points respectively
7. Awards:

Global Award

• Peter O'Halloran Award for Excellence is awarded to any student who achieves a perfect score.

National Awards:

• Prize: Top 0.3% in A-E

• High Distinction: Top 3% in A-D / Top 5% in E

• Distinction: Top 20% in A-D / TOP 25% in E

• Credit: Top55% in A-D / Top 60% in E

• Proficiency: Students who achieve a certain score, but have not been awarded a credit (or higher) certificate, the

average score is about 32 points.

* Each difficulty level is awarded separately by grade level

II. Entrance

1. Enter time: Saturday, 23September 2023, 9:30-9:45am (A&B)

2. What Allowed to Bring to the Classroom:

(1) Identity card or passport, admission ticket, 2B pencil, eraser, signature pen and blank scratch papers;

(2) Examinees of Level A&B allowed to bring non-programmable calculators and printed language dictionaries;

(3) Examinees of Level C&D&E allowed to bring printed language dictionaries.

3. What NOT Allowed to Bring to the Classroom:

(1) Mobile phone, smartwatch or electronic equipment;

(2) Examinees of Level C&D&E are not allowed to bring calculators.

III. Schedule and Notes

1. 1 week before the examination（16 September, 2023）:

Examinees should log into mini program“ 阿 思 丹 国 际 理 科 测 评 ”on Wechat - 【 My registration 】 - click on the

corresponding competition-【Admission Ticket Download】, click 【Download】to save the picture to the phone, then

download the admission ticket to bring to the exam classroom.

2. The examination day:

(1) Please check if your paper, answer sheet is damaged or blurred. If yes, please raise your hand for changing. Those who

do not report shall bear all consequences.

(2) The test can be answered only after the start of the test is signaled; examinees are not allowed to enter exam classroom

after 10 min past the starting time and not allowed to leave exam room until 15 min before the competition ends.

(3) Please keep quiet. Any cheating behaviors including but not limited to whispering to each other, plagiarism and paper

exchange are prohibited.

(4) When the proctors indicate the competition has ended, you should stop writing immediately and wait for proctors to

collect the papers, answer sheets. You should leave the classroom only when instructed to do so by the proctors.

(5) You should consciously obey the invigilators and should not obstruct the proctors and disturb the order of the

examination room, intimidate or threaten the invigilators for any reason.

Note: Anyone who violate above exam rules will be disqualified.

IV. Participant Monitoring

All participants can report any instance of cheating in the competition to the proctors. You can also inform ASDAN STEM

Challenges Department by contacting at 400-9999-615.

V. Result Announcement

(1) Examinees should log into mini program “ 阿 思 丹 国 际 理 科 测 评 ” on Wechat - 【 My registration 】 - click on the

corresponding competition -【Score Inquiry】and【Certificate Download】.

Examinees will be able to enter the exam room 30 minutes before the competition starts but are restricted from
entering the exam hall after 10 minutes past the starting time, and are not allowed to leave the exam room until 15
minutes before the competition ends.
7. 考试结束经监考老师同意方可离开考场，严禁将考场所发任何材料带出考场。
After the competition ends, Examinees can leave and are not allowed to bring any exam materials out of the exam
classroom.
