tree I had planted, Sua ku sua, ku am pati anum
My little orange tree I had planted, Ay dahun-dahun niya unum
With its six leaves,
Ay dahun-dahun niya unum
With its six leaves
Ay bang makatungtung sila ini tanun
It reminds me of her
Atay-atay kung makagumun
That makes my heart to beat
Atay-atay kung makagumun
That makes my heart to beat
Ikapilaran kambay sararan
Beautiful among the many,
Hikalasahan di ka pipintasan
That pretty one I cannot change,
Dahon-dahon pipintas-pintas
Walking hurriedly along the street
dahumahan Magpipintas
Hand in hand with me
Walking hurriedly along the street
dahumahan Magpipintas
Hand in hand with me
kitaragumay Kapilaran, iman
To that lovely beauty I lost my heart

Reflection: So Sua - Ku - Sua roughly translates to "my pomelo tree" The dance shows the
dependence of the Tausug on the pomelo tree and my reflection on the song is like a beautiful
melody and harmony and the song sounds really traditional music and it's good that if uses it
