It is submitted that I Sadhana Singh, have been selected as Postal Assistant in the Indian Postal

Department though Staff Selection Examination, CGL, 2022 and have been allocated to Irinjalakudu
Division under Kochi Regional Office in Kerala Circle vide divisional allocation order in file No.
ST/5-2/CGLE-2022 dated 25.09.2023.

Further, it is submitted that presently I am staying with my husband Sh. Umesh Kumar Singh and
15 month old son at Vikas Nagar, Mardu, Kochi- 682304. My husband has been working as
Superintendent of Customs for last 7 years in Custom House Cochin, Willington Island, IG Road, Cochin,
Ernakulum District, Kerala-682009, and presently posted in the same office.

Vide Office Memorandum in F.NO.28034/9/2009-Estt.(A) issued by Government of India,

Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT),
dated the 30th September, 2009 facilitate the Posting of husband and wife at the same station for
enhancement of women's status in all walks of life and to enable them to lead a normal family life as
also to ensure the education and welfare of the children, it is humbly requested that I may be
transferred to Kochi Region on Spouse ground.

I am committed to join my employment with Indian Postal department, and I believe that a
transfer to Kochi Region would not only allow me to support my spouse but also contribute effectively
to our organization in the new capacity.
