MANIFESTO

• Sports facilities improvement in terms of badminton court adjustments, drinking water facilities

• Pitch to the institute to create VSH above floor (store room) into co-study rooms (common
discussion rooms), students can access its resources 24/7. The SVH Mess and the NHB are currently
the only two places which can be utilized for group study.

• Wi-fi Signal enhancement at gathering places and hostel rooms.

• Work on creating an official platform/app where students and alumni of IIM Mumbai (previously
NITIE) can connect with each other for referrals, sponsorships, and funding.

• Drinking water (hot and cold) will be provided based on winter and summer seasons.

• Lift, Extra Classrooms, and Library availability during exam times.

• Improving the hygiene standards and food quality of the mess and bring more variety to the mess
menu.

• AC remotes availability in classroom (one per classroom).

• Connect with current students and work on creating more clubs such as quiz, music, dramatics, and
debate clubs.

• Include more leisure facilities like common TV rooms for regular movie and sport match screenings,
provide more recreational facilities in the girls’ hostel like pool, carrom, TT table at each floor
(currently there is only 1 carrom board and 1 TT table at the entire girls’ hostel).

• Enhance the sports facilities with the inclusion of at least 1-2 indoor courts to facilitate all year-
round play for sport enthusiasts.

• Improve the condition of the music room by enlarging it (or creating an alternate space) and
provide more access to students for their hobbies and recreation.

• Revamp the building for the community hall to celebrate all the regional and cultural events to
improve diversity.

• Conduct sports for girls in more categories (cricket, football, koko).

• Provide scabies injections for the treatment of the dogs in the campus.

• Pitch to professors and students about improving consulting ecosystem in campus like releasing IIM
ABC standard casebook and encouraging participation in case study competitions.
