• 2nd Preference : Production Cluster (Production Division)

• 3rd Preference : Quality Cluster (QA Division)

• 4th Preference : Commercial Cluster (Supply Chain

Justification for the 1st Preferred Cluster/Division ?
• My 1st preference i.e. the Engineering Cluster (Engineering Division) stands
responsible for the design and development of new car models for India and for
export countries. A competent Planning Team, Design Engineers, Development
Engineers and a Testing Team are needed to satisfactorily accomplish this task.
• A Design Engineer would be responsible for tasks like Body & Interior Design,
Chassis Design, CAE of the designed models etc.
• The following points prove my relevance to this Cluster/Division:
 A strong conceptual knowledge of Strength of Materials and Design of
Machine Elements.
 Trained to use various CAD/CAE softwares viz. Catia V5, SolidWorks, Ansys
etc.
 Successfully designed different Chassis components for various National
Level Inter-College Competitions like BAJA SAEINDIA.
 Successfully completed Two Internship Projects both involving Designing,
Simulation and Analysis of components.
 Friendly with the usage of ADAMS for simulation purpose.

Justification for the 2nd Preferred Cluster/Division ?
• My 2nd preference i.e. the Production Cluster (Production Division) is responsible
for the manufacturing of the necessary resources for the company. It involves
working in functions ranging from Vehicle assembly, Casting and Engine
Assembly, Production Engineering, Facilities and Plant Maintenance, Materials
Management, In-plant and Inter Plant Logistics.

• A Production Engineer would have to smartly manage people on a daily basis,

have a good analytical skill-set and be a technical expert as well.

• The following points prove my relevance to this Cluster/Division:

 A good knowledge of the general Manufacturing Processes in use.
 A good understanding of Production Planning and Inventory Control.
 Having headed 2 university teams as the Vice Captain, into achieving good
National Ranks backs my credibility at successfully managing people.
 Having acquired an exceptional learning experience as the Head of the
Steering Department for the same 2 competitions helped me gain the
Technical expertise I have.
