 Provide 30Mbps line to the school (dedicated upload_download at all times)

 Integrate the 30Mbps line to existing infrastructure within the school to ensure
these rooms have access to the service:
 Computer Labs
 Admin Room
 Teacher’s Room
 If any of the rooms stated above are not connected within the school existing LAN
infrastructure, YTL will provide a cable to supply connectivity to the room.
 A maximum of 5 points of cable may be pulled, and terminated at the data socket
or existing school infrastructure; in accordance to the school site survey. For a
location to be classified as a Computer Lab, a minimum of 5 working PCs is
required.

 Infrastructure provided by YTLC will belong to YTLC and school is responsible to

ensure that the infrastructure is taken care of and not abused.
 Zooms/OCPE or any existing service provided by YTLC previously will be taken back
and be replaced by this FTTS service.
 WiFi AP will be provided for the Admin and Teacher’s room (if necessary; where
there is no existing LAN within these rooms).

 Ideally, schools implemented with FTTS shall be configured with the bandwidth profile
specified below. However, the feasibility of implementing such bandwidth profile is dependent
on the network setup of each respective school.

• Wifi AP issue
 Based on the contract <clause pg10/59 SoW>, if MOE so desires, YTLC can provide
quotation for procurement of AP unit for required schools.
 If MOE wants YTLC to provide the AP, we request for principal approval in advance. Actual
installation numbers shall depend on service results.
• For each implementation, PMO is required to prepare an installation letter and communicate
to the school; PMO to cc a copy of this letter to YTLC
• During the Fiber installation, the existing zooms shall be taken back by YTLC. This has to be
mentioned in the surat makluman pemasangan to the schools. Decommissioning of
previous network equipment to be done after FTTS in school is successfully signed- off:-
