Look for a Star

Isugan ES joins the 12 Days of Christmas for learners to highlight this Christmas celebration.
Activity for Day 5 is Look for the Star. Children will look for the star and be mounted on top
of the Christmas tree. The star is said to have revealed the birth of Jesus and showed the
wise men the way to Bethlehem. With this activity, children will enjoy and at the same time
value the meaning of the star during Christmas Season.

Brainstorm Acts of Kindness

For 12 days, pupils in Isugan Elementary School celebrated the "12 Days of Christmas for
Learners." On the last day, December 15th, they focused on "Acts of Kindness." Pupils
brainstormed ways to be kind, like helping older people or cleaning up. Then, they made a colorful
picture collage showing these kinds of acts. Smiling faces on the collage captured different ways
to be nice, like sharing meals or giving a hand. But it didn't stop there. Inspired by their collage,
students took action. Some cleaned the school grounds and others cleaned their backyards at home.
And in the spirit of giving, some students prepared special gifts to share during the Christmas
season.
