MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Esteemed Parents and Guardians,

As we draw the curtain on a successful first term and

approach the joyous holiday season, I would like to
extend my heartfelt wishes for a Merry Christmas and a
prosperous New Year in advance.
Looking ahead, 2024 holds a wealth of possibilities. We
have planned a multitude of enriching experiences and
opportunities for our students and the entire school
community. We are excited about the great things that
the new year will bring.

We acknowledge the challenges that the Lagos-Epe expressway traffic situation has
posed this term and we deeply appreciate your patience and resilience. We remain hopeful
that the ongoing road construction will reach significant milestones during the holiday
period, leading to improved traffic conditions when we resume for the second term.

In the spirit of fostering a balanced lifestyle for our students, we advise parents to
enforce strict measures controlling screen time and social media engagement. We
encourage our students to utilize the curriculum map to study ahead for the upcoming
second term. Specifically, our Year 9 students should begin preparations for their external
exams, while our Year 10 students should commence preparations for their WAEC and
IGCSE examinations. There is so much to do in so little time, so I encourage students to
brace up!

As we celebrate the holiday season, let us remember that it is a time for rest, reflection,
and bonding with loved ones. It is also a time to plan for the exciting opportunities that the
new year will bring.

Once again, I wish you all a joyous holiday season, a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New
Year filled with blessings and happiness.

Our school hosted an event aimed at educating our

students and staff about basic table manners and
dining etiquette. This year, our girls looked stunning
as ever, while the boys were impressively dressed in
their suits, blazers, and tuxedos. Not to be outdone,
our teaching and non-teaching staff also joined in
on the fun. It was a fantastic experience of both
learning and dining.

At CDSS, we know that Christmas is all about spreading warmth,

celebrate than with our annual Christmas concert on December 15th,
2023! Our talented students, staff, and parents lit up the stage with
their festive performances, making sure everyone had a holly jolly
