STRIKES BRIGADA ‘23 KICK-OFF
The Department of Education launches Brigada Eskwela 2023
with the theme, “Bayanihan Para sa Matatag na Paaralan Tara
Na, Magbayanihan na Tayo!”. This year’s Brigada Eskwela
promotes collaboration and resiliency in basic education. This is
the preparation of the school in the upcoming opening of classes
with the help of DSDSNHS faculty and staff, parents and learners.

As part of its preparation and readiness for the School

Year 2023-2024, DSDSNHS organized Brigada
Eskwela recorida and distributed of flyers to
disseminate the information participated with the
teachers and stakeholders. This activity is to inform
the start of another preparation for upcoming opening
of classes. Right after the recorida, a short program
was conducted which is attended by the parents,
teachers and school head.

Ma’am Josephine A. Basillo, School Principal II,

expressed her gratitude to the volunteers for
participating the kick-off program of the school.
Moreover, Sir Russell Philip E. Tecson, Brigada
Coordinator briefly discussed the scope of work
for this year’s BE.
After the opening program and short orientation, enrollees, headed
to their designated curriculum areas to start on the enrolment
process for their respective Brigada service.

A total of 237 volunteers joined Dr. Santiago Dakudao Sr. National

High School’s Brigada Eskwela 2023 kick-off program on August
14, 2023.

It was evident that the first day of BE had successfully set the tone
for a collective efforts. The event provided an opportunity for
learners to appreciate the value of service, instilling in them a sense
of civic responsibility and pride in their school.
