Fortnight in Focus
It has been a very busy time over the last two weeks
with many wonderful celebrations and enormous
successes. This culminated in our annual
Presentation Day on Tuesday 14th December where
many students were acknowledged for their
academic, sporting and personal growth in 2021. It
has certainly been a challenging year but we are so
proud of all of our students for the resilience and
determination they demonstrated. Congratulations
to all 2021 award winners! We are hopeful that Platform Y
Deputy Principal
Lisa Muller
parents and carers can join us for the 2022 School Holiday
Presentation Day ceremony.
Programs
Congratulations are also in order for the students
elected to our 2022
Student Representative Council. It was very positive to see so many students
put themselves forward for nomination. Our school is in very good hands!
Year 7 2022 will have an opportunity to nominate for the SRC in early Term 1.
We celebrated our Year 12 2021 cohort at the graduation dinner held at
the Aviation Museum on Friday 3rd December 2021. It was a very special
evening and we are thankful for the opportunity to recognise our
graduating class. Such an evening would not be possible without a large
team of people working behind the scenes. Special thanks to Temora

Aviation Museum for allowing us to use their incredible venue. Wishing you

A huge Congratulations goes out to our
school community for reaching our
Movember goal. WE DID IT !
The campaign was led by Miss Bruce, Mr
Hawken and the SRC Students who put
together numerous events such as Crazy
Shirt, Blue Hair and Wacky Sock day, The Mo
& Mullet competition a BBQ Lunch and
cupcake stall. A grand total of $1023.14 was
raised.
The students and staff had a wonderful time
participating in all of these events. Mr Inch's
Blue Mo, Miss Salter's blue hair and Mr
Hawken's Blue Mohawk provided lots of fun
and laughter for the Students.
Thank you to those who also donated money
to this great cause. " We grow for our Bro "

The Great Cake Bake-Off


Who said wet weather sport can't be fun ? To finish off a fantastic year in Food
The students participated in some fun Technology, Stage 5 students designed,
games such as Giant Jenga, Snakes and baked and decorated cakes. Students were

creating their cakes!! It was great to hear a
lot of positive feedback from students who
were thoroughly enjoying themselves when
undertaking this task: "This is the best
lesson ever", "that was so much fun" and
"Wow, everyone has done an amazing job".

The Food Technology department would
like to wish all students and their families a
very happy, safe and healthy holiday, and
we look forward to 2022 and all the fun to
be had in the school kitchen in the new
year.

Year 7 Get Organised

Mr Hawken’s Year 7 Technology (Mandatory) class have

finished their woodwork unit of work, with the completion ATSI Representative - Chelsea Coleman
of their Desktop Organiser projects. Each student designed
and then constructed their project from scrap materials. Year 7 - TBC (Term 1 2022)
Well done to all students who demonstrated outstanding
skill and technique in the design of their final projects. Each Year 8 - Jaicie Blachut, Mitchell Harper, Connor
desktop organiser was unique and many included Hawksworth
innovative features such as hat holders, drawers, phone
