Storable is looking for Interns in Software Development who strive to learn and deliver quality
software that powers our software products, platforms and services. Storable Interns will get to
work with an assigned mentor to learn our development processes, from working with the
product and design team members to defining the problem, through development, deployment,
testing and monitoring. Working with sprint team leads and mentors, Software Development
Interns are expected to deploy code and work on projects that directly impact clients, consumers,
and businesses outcomes.

What you'll get to work on everyday:

● Work closely with Developers and UX designers to learn and create new components
● Use the latest techniques to optimize sites for speed and improved user experience
● Develop features through the full stack .Net and/or React, NodeJS middleware, and
backend microservices
● Contribute to overall code and product quality and performance by developing automated
tests and monitoring
● Collaborate with team members on solutions and participate in pair programming and
code reviews
● Understand and implement best practices demonstrating how to create effective designs
and write maintainable, reusable code
What you need to bring to the table:

● Working towards a college degree in a computer science or relevant software


programming course/work experience
● SQL and understanding of relational databases and familiarity with no-SQL data stores is
plus
● Tech skills around the basics of SDLC process: software design patterns, implementation,
unit testing, debugging
● Strong written and verbal communication skills showing an ability to interface with
business stakeholders and engineers
● Willingness to take ownership and dig deep to understand the product and how changes
affect end users
