The meeting of ASMAK was called to order at 9.30am 0n January 19 2024 by Chairman
Dan Odida. He requested Bismark Onyando to pray.

MIN 01/06: Opening Remarks
The Chairperson led the meeting by first welcoming all members in the meeting. He introduced
the new members who currently registered to the ASMAK, Rachel and Vishal Khagram. He
also introduced the office secretary Madam Evelyn who is in Madini House Nairobi.
MIN 02/06: Reading and confirming the matters arising from previous minutes
The previous minutes were not confirmed since the Secretary General was absent.
MIN 03/06: Develop SOP

SOP to be launched on the last week of February during the 3 or 4 days meeting with

solidaridad between February 26 and 28 . Solidaridad pathway to prosperity (P.To.P)

program will also be launched on Tuesday 27 Feb during the conference that the hotel venue

will be communicated later. Kampala Uganda conference between 28 Jan to 1 Feb and each
County should send a member to represent.

There will be an executive meeting on 19 and 20 Feb where by members are asked to attend

physically since it will be like a workshop activity. Conference in South Africa will be from 5
th
Feb to 8 Cape Town. Mining Indiba /conference, those who are likely to be supported as
beneficiaries of this conference are those members who have been acquiring mining equipment’s

from the impact facility organization. Madam Ritah from solidaridad stated that between 19

and 23 Feb will have a complete draft of the year.
MIN 04/06: AGM

The Annual General Meeting will be held on 28 Feb, where the venue will be confirmed in
due time. The meeting will be held in Nairobi and all members are requested to attend. The

agenda will be sent to the WhatsApp group before 23 Jan.
MIN 05/06 Work Plan 2024
Be generated with each county activities, consult with other partners to partake with ASMAK
and to work on what we must do to ensure we have achieved our objectives within the calendar.
Partners will play a great role so they have to communicate and give the plans so that the year be
moved smoothly. Solidaridad and Cejad to assist us with the program of the year 2024 so that we
know whether there are other activities that need to engage ASMAK so that we work together as
team

The chairperson asked the executive to be consulted for the office up keep.
