SpacECE India Foundation (SpacECE) is launching a comprehensive program aimed at


fostering the holistic development of children in early years. This initiative encompasses
activities tailored for young learners, home-based engagements, aimed at making children
school ready and preparing them with essential life skills. Manager-Education will play a
pivotal role in establishing a program focused on creating a nurturing and stimulating
environment where mothers and toddlers can thrive and grow together. This position offers an
exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of families and communities
through innovative programming, research, and collaboration.
The Manager-Education position is a full-time role based in Pune, requiring a candidate with a
strong interest in working with children and parents. The Manager will be responsible for
overseeing the establishment, operations, and growth of a new learning center catering to
mothers and toddlers. This role involves strategic planning, program development, stakeholder
engagement, research, and collaboration with government agencies and other organizations to
enhance the impact and reach of the center. The responsibilities also include managing
conducting home studies and facilitating group discussions and meetings. The successful
candidate will demonstrate excellent coordination skills with diverse stakeholders, including
parents, children, volunteers, and other professionals.

Responsibilities:
• Establishment of New Centre:
- Lead the setup and launch of the new Mother-Toddler Learning Centre,
including location selection, facility setup, staffing, and resource allocation.
- Develop policies, procedures, and guidelines for the efficient functioning of the
center in alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including scheduling, curriculum
implementation, staff management, and facility maintenance.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality programs and services that meet the
developmental needs of both mothers and toddlers.
• Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Implement systems for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of programs
and interventions.

- Collect and analyze data to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and
make data-driven decisions.
• Impact Enhancement:
- Develop strategies to increase the center's impact on the well-being and
development of mothers and toddlers.
- Explore innovative approaches, partnerships, and initiatives to enhance program
effectiveness and reach.
• Research and Development:
- Conduct research and literature reviews to stay informed about best practices,
emerging trends, and evidence-based interventions in early childhood
development and parent-child relationships.
- Translate research findings into practical strategies and interventions for
implementation at the center.
• Collaboration and Networking:
- Build and maintain partnerships with government agencies, non-profit
organizations, community groups, and other stakeholders to leverage resources,
share expertise, and maximize impact.
- Represent the center in meetings, conferences, and networking events to
promote collaboration and advocate for the needs of mothers and toddlers.
• Stakeholder Management:
- Cultivate positive relationships with parents, caregivers, volunteers, and
community members to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Address concerns, resolve conflicts, and maintain open lines of communication
with stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements:


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development,
Social Work, Public Health, or a related field.
• Proven experience in program management, preferably in early childhood education,
family support services, or community development.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff,
volunteers, and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans, monitor progress, and
evaluate outcomes.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, policies, and standards related to early childhood
education and family support services.
• Proficiency in research methods, data analysis, and report writing.
• Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in program delivery and
stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in ECE, Education or a related field; teaching qualification preferred
- Proven experience in ECCE, pre-school set-up and/or crèche
- Familiarity with age-appropriate teaching methodologies and play-based learning approaches
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
