FIRST AID MEASURES


Section IV

Basic First Aid Information Remove stained clothing. Wash any


affected parts of body thoroughly with
water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical
assistance immediately.
Spills on Eyes Flush eyes with large amount of water until
irritation subsides. Always consult an
ophthalmologist.
Spills on Skin Flush with large amount of water for at least
15 minutes. Remove grossly contaminated
clothing including shoes and laundry before
use. Seek medical assistance to treat burns.
Ingestion Do not induce vomiting. Keep at rest.
Drink as much water as required. Seek
medical assistance immediately.
Inhalation Using proper respiratory protection, move
affected person to a ventilated area and give
prompt medical attention.

FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

Fire and Explosion Hazard Not inflammable but reaction with metals
can generate hydrogen gas which is
inflammable in air (between 4 and 75% by
volume). May start fires in contact with
fuels.
