PATTERN Front post double crochet (FP dc)

Falling Leaves Cardigan Yarn over, insert hook from front to back around next
stitch, yarn over, pull through (photo 1), there will be 3
loops on your hook (photo 2), finish your front post double
crochet (FP dc) as normal dc (photo 3);

Join yarn into the central st of underarm

Row 1: ch1, work evenly 29[34,39,49,59,65]sc across the
right front, turn (if needed you can work any other amount
of sc, but take care that you work them evenly and work
same amount across another edge as well)
Row 2: ch1, sc in first st, *ch2, skip next 2sts, sc in each of
next 8sts*, repeat from * once more (or more times if you
are going to use more buttons), sc in each st to end, turn

Row 3: ch1, sc in first st, sc in each next st, fasten off.

Rnd 1: ch1, but pull it longer, dc in base of ch1, work evenly
