In 2008 my brother was born.
From the start me and my
brother were very close. Hes
very important to me and will
continue to be for the rest of
our lives. Growing up with him is
something I am very thankful
for as we always have our
laughs and jokes cheering
eachtoher up. This has had a big
mpact on the way I grew up and
contributed to my strengths
today.
Moving to British Columia was a
very important part of my life.
BC is where ive lived for the past
13 years and counting. Ive met
many friends over the years
here and the impact has been
nothing but positive. This event
was a starting point in my life
and its very important to me.
Living here has watched me
grow into who I am today and
will help me grow even further.
Working my first job was a huge
learning experience. This summer I
was grateful enough to work at a
golf course near my cabin. I was
taught many skills, for example
one of my positions included a lot
of social customer work. I learned
social skills that will carry on to my
everyday life. My other position
had a lot of hands on applied skills.
Im so thankful my co-workers and
bosses mentored me through all
of this.
In my future years, I hope to purchase
a house. This is a goal that will take a
long time to achieve but it will feel like
such a reward once I complete it. Using
my skills i’ve been taught so far in my
life and skills that I hope to attain in my
future years I hope I can apply them to
this goal and work towards it everyday.
If I cannot complete this goal, my
backup plan would to own some sort
of property whether it be a townhome
or apartment I will still be very proud
of myself.
