    As you know, the best way to develop your pronunciation and your comprehension skills with
    this episode is by speaking out loud.
    So, grab your water because you will be speaking every time you hear a sound there.
    Our characters are Mark, the customer, and Jeff, the waiter.

    Jeff – Good evening, gentlemen. Here’s the menu.


    Mark – Hum… what would you recommend?
    Jeff – The specialty of the house is _______________________.
    Mark – Sounds good to me!
    Jeff – Great choice. And what would you like to drink?
    Mark – Can I have a ________________________, please?
    Jeff – Sure. Anything else?
    Mark – I’ll also have some _________________, some ________________ and
    ____________________ for dessert. That’s all.
    Jeff – Are you expecting anyone else to come?

     So, this is our basic dialogue at a restaurant. We are going to practice it with different
    choices from the menu on the next page.
