FIRST ORDER PRAYED

1.

THAT CHARLES ASHLEIGH STUART JENNINGS, an advocate of this Honourable Court,

practising at the Advocates’ Chambers, 17 Prince Edward Street, Pietermaritzburg, be and is
hereby appointed Curator ad Litem to DEAN WILLIAM REYNOLDS, who presently resides at
District Road 112, Hattingspruit, KwaZulu-Natal, to examine him and to report to this Honourable
Court in writing as to his capacity or incapacity to manage his own affairs and as to the
desirability or otherwise of appointing a Curator Bonis to his estate and of granting the further
relief set out in the Second Order prayed hereunder.

THAT the Applicant be granted leave to place the evidence of Drs Sundas and Botha before
this Honourable Court by way of reports and affidavits, unless this Honourable Court should
otherwise direct, or unless the Curator ad Litem should require them to give evidence viva
voce.

3.

That the costs of this application be costs in the main application for the appointment of a
Curator Bonis.
 4.

That leave be and is hereby granted to the Applicant to apply to this Honourable Court on the
same papers, supplemented insofar as may be necessary, once the report of the Curator ad
Litem has been furnished, for an Order in terms of the Second Order prayed herein.
