Good morning everyone, today me and Nevan have a mathematican for u to guess. We will give u 3
hints, if u get it u will get a chocolate.

Hint 1- This mathematican was from a place called nicea in ancient Greece

Hint 2- He is also an astronomer

Hint 3- He is known as father of Trignometry

The mathematican is Hipparchus of Nicaea.

Hipparchus of Nicaea, most known as the father of trigonometry is the main root of all our pain, from
sohcahtoa to sin rule to cosine rule to whatever trigonometric field there is, it is because of Hipparchus.

Hipparchus also made major discoveries for diatances and time, Hipparchus made significant efforts
to determine the sizes and distances of the Earth, Moon, and Sun. While these were
astronomical studies, they involved mathematical calculations and geometric principles.

Hipparchus also worked on the equations of time, which involve understanding the variations in
the Sun's apparent motion over the course of a year. This work had mathematical aspects,
particularly in dealing with time-related calculations.

While Hipparchus' contributions to mathematics were intertwined with his astronomical work,
his ideas and methods had a lasting impact on the development of mathematical tools and
concepts. His work laid the foundation for later mathematicians and astronomers, contributing
to the rich history of both fields. So for those who say math is not required, think again.
