    How to open the chain?


    1. Empty the conveyor
    2. Switch off the conveyor and protect against any unauthorized restarting!
    3. Loose the tension spindle nuts so far that the
    ...springs will be completely tension-free.
    4. Support the chain and/or the conveyor section at the cut-off point so that
    ...it cannot fall down after separation.
    5. Use an angle grinder to cut/open one outer link plate at both bolts at
    each end of the chain strand to be replaced
