Please Note:
Prices are subject to change without notice due to factors such as price of AVGAS, Rand / Dollar fluctuations affecting
aircraft maintenance costs, operational costs, etc. which are beyond the control of Vulcan Aviation. This estimate is based
on the minimum hours required by law. Should extra training be required, such costs will be for the student’s account.
Estimate includes landing fees at Lanseria Airport only and any navigation, approach or away landing fees will be
charged for separately. Vulcan provided accommodation and transportation is compulsory for minimum of 6 months. CAA
approved PPL/CPL books/notes will be provided where applicable. Prices indicative are in South African Rand (ZAR) and
inclusive of VAT @ 15%. Ts and Cs apply. Estimate does not include Visa costs.
Payment terms:
An initial amount of ZAR 20 000.00 (International Student) is required to commence the joining process. For all
International students the minimum credit to be maintained will be ZAR 40,000.00 at all times. The balance of the
deposit fee will be allocated towards training and instruction. All forms of training will cease if the minimum credit
balance is below the mentioned amounts. Training will re-commence once sufficient funds are available.

Payment Plan:
Initial deposit: ZAR 20,000.00 – To be paid for Admission into the Academy. Medical Aid: ZAR 10000
(Initial Deposit includes medical aid fee, which is part of visa process)
1st Installment: ZAR 200,000.00 – To be paid prior to arrival in South Africa or After obtaining Visa.
2nd Installment: ZAR 200,000.00 – To be paid prior to commencement of Phase 2.
3rd Installment: ZAR 200,000.00 – To be paid prior to commencement of Phase 3.
4th Installment: ZAR 153,020.00 – To be paid prior to commencement of Phase 4.
