Pedro Martín José María Suárez-Vértiz Alva (born
in Callao, February 13, 1969), is a Peruvian
musician, singer, composer and producer.
Already in high school his writings began to be
set to music by forming a first band with his
brother and friends called Paranoia. Later, he
formed the group Arena Hash, in which he
played the guitar, composed and sang all the
songs.
Parallel to his musical career with Arena Hash,
he entered the University of Lima and chose
Communication Sciences.
After belonging to the Arena Hash group, with
whom he made two albums, he began his solo
career successfully.
achievements
In March 2010, Pedro Suárez-Vértiz received
the highest musical distinction in his country,
the "Eduardo Márquez Talledo Musical
Palms," awarded by the Association of
Authors and Composers of Peru.
