As the fall 2022 incoming freshmen season peeks right around the corner,

this is the time to triple-check that all your pre-orientation tasks are in check.

When entering your NetID and password to access the various UA online
services (eg. UAccess, UA email, D2L etc.) you may often see this pop-up
menu. (see above figure)

This is the UA IT NetID+ authorization request. In this short article, you will

NETID+
What is NetID+ and How does it work?

NetID+ is provided by UA’s IT security services and powered by DUO. In


effort to protect student info confidentiality, the DUO push security
system (as shown in an earlier figure) is required when logging in to any
school-related platforms.

Students should first register for a NetID+ account and add their personal

Verifying logins on a mobile device

1. Download the “Duo Mobile” App from the App store (iOS users) or
Google Play store (Android Users).

2. Login with your registered NetID account info at https://netid-


plus.arizona.edu

3. Click “enroll” to add your first mobile device. (If you have already
added 1 or more trusted devices under your account, the “enroll” option
will not be visible. Click “manage your accounts” to access more
options.)
4. Click "Add a smartphone" and select your device type

code to activate your new device.
