Origin: this is a primary source created in 1916 buy the new
south wale government

Motive: this was created as a way of saying thank you to the


returned soldiers who risked their lives in the war, they were
offered farmland to live out the rest of their lives in peace not
having to worry about money or food.

Content: it conveyed that the government wants to


compensate the brave soldiers with farmland. It also conveyed
to that the government wasn’t selfish and heartless.

Audience: this was aimed at soldiers and civilians

Reliability: this source is useful as it helps us understand the


war more clearly through how the government compensated
returned soldiers with something that was worth a lot of
money. This highlights that the war was bad and life changing
for all soldiers. This also shows the pain the soldiers went
through in the war. This source is reliable as it was put up as
posters after the world war.

Motive: this photo was taken to show all the people in the past
and present the horrors of war and what war can do to the
brain of a human.it shows how mentally damaging it was
watching friends die and taking human lives.

Content: the message being conveyed is how bad war is this


image it trying to show how the soldiers that fought especially
on the front line were so damaged that they would jump in
freight when they heard loud sound because it would remind
them of gunshots and bombs.

Audience: this is intended for civilians as it shows what soldiers


had to go through and endure for the safety of their country.

Reliability: this is useful because it helps us understand the true


horror of war by showing us the mental state of the soldiers on
the front-line. This is reliable as a photographer from that time

Content: this photo conveys the physical state of the war and
shows the danger of being at the front line as you were at risk
of losing limbs. This explains yet again the hardship the soldiers
had to go through in the war.

terrifying truth of war.

Reliability: this is useful because it shows us that World War 1


was no joke and it changed many young people's lives that lived
to return to their families. This is reliable because it was taken
