LESSON 1 EARNING A LIVING Terms and Concepts a. Find the definitions for the following terms and concepts:
1. Wages - a payment to a worker for work done in a particular time period
2. Salary - is where the employer pays a prearranged amount at regular intervals, often regardless of hours worked 3. Employers - is a person or organization who employs someone to do a particular job 4. Employees - are people who work for a company or an individual 5. Workers - are people who are hired to do a specific job and get paid 6. Work Ethics - refers to rules and standards of conduct that are acceptable in the workplace
