Instruction for exchange of DIESELswitch mixing-valve ( V3 )

• !! Please switch the system into BYPASS before changing the mixing-valve !!

• Please use a screwdriver for recessed head screws and loosen 8 screws from the housing
(please see picture)

• After unscrewing all screws, please take off the hood.

• The hood can be removed upwards. (please see picture)


• Next one has to work on the circuit board.

• Please write down the occupancy of the wires. (please see picture)

• !! PLEASE ALWAYS WORK POWER-FREE. TURN OFF SWITCH CABINET !!

• Now clamp off the supply leads 3x1,5 mm² and the communication wire 7x2x0,75 mm².

• Please see picture 4-5

• Now loosen the cable tie as well as the screw fittings and pull both cables out of the valve
carefully.

• After clamping off the cables and pulling them out of the valve, start loosing the 12 M16
screws CAREFULLY (ATTENTION: there can possibly be some fuel in the line).
• After removing all screws, the mixing-valve can be taken out of the system.

• Now the mixing- valve has been taken out of the system and is lying in front of you, you can
CAREFULLY remove the insets, which have been installed at both entries (please see picture).

• Now you install the insets, which have been removed from the old mixing-valve, in the new
mixing-valve.

• ATTENTION: Strictly watch, that inset HFO is installed on „IN 1“ side and MGO is installed on
„IN 2“ side (please see picture).

Please do not forget the O-Rings !!


• When the insets are installed in the new valve, you can start installing the valve in the
system.

• Installing the valve into the system and tie up with M16 screws (do not forget the flange
gaskets).

• Insert both cables into the mixing-valve again and wire them.

• !! Wiring to be checked thoroughly !! If wired wrong, damage possible !!

• Fix the cables with cable tie and put the hood on the valve CAREFULLY and screw tight.

• Switch on the control cabinet and check, if any alarms are occurring.

• If no alarms are occuring, the system is fully ready.
