The ever increasing competition and globalization has seen businesses competing to

increase productivity and business processes to fulfill the insatiable growing demand of

customers. Business have thus over the years transformed and the term business models and

dynamics has been often used in various contexts including management. Businesses have

consciously transformed from traditional management to a strategic formulation and execution in

their businesses ("What traditional businesses can learn from hybrids", 2017). These business

dynamics have served to put organizations at a strategic stability while at the same time allowing

for flexibility in change. There are various business dynamics which include the Political, Social,

Economic, Legal, Intercultural and Technological corporate dynamics.

Leadership has continued to play a significant role in determining these business

dynamics. It is significant for business to identify and promote leaders who demonstrate

innovative thinking and take action to execute strategies in an organization (R, 2022).

Transformational leadership especially has led to the achievement of organizational learning

under these various dynamics (R, 2022). As a result, businesses have continued to thrive. The

Political and legal aspects greatly affect the way a business operates. Nike is an American

Multinational engaged in design, development and manufacturing and sales of footwear and

accessories. In America, the company has enjoyed high profits from growth orientated policies

of the United States government. Among the strategies they have used in expanding across

dynamic political and legal aspects are they have adhered to the government policies.

Furthermore, Nike has formulated strategies aimed at ensuring an issue is identified and a

solution toward it is implemented. An example of an impact area would be protectionism or

environmental standards ("Nike Grind | Changing the Game from the Ground Up", 2022). Legal

and Political dynamics of a business are interrelated and is seen in play when businesses have to

expand across borders to satisfy the growing customer demand. The good leadership of a

company like Nike has ensured its expansion across different countries.

The Social and Economics dynamics have greatly affect the success of businesses. The

social aspect of a business can be identified from within by how the human resources are

developed. Businesses need to have skilled human resources who affect the way business

operations are done. A strong leader is able to recruit the right type of workforce to actualize the

business’ corporate objective. In June, 2020, Nike rolled out an old recycling shoes program in

China. In this program the shoe giant recycle old shoes and convert them into Nike Grind

Materials. The issue is aimed at encouraging more peoples’ involvement in Environmental

Protection The program is meant not only to regain the value of old shoes, but also to increase

environmental protection strategies ("Nike "Old Shoes Recycling Program" Launched To Help

Children Regain Sports Happiness", 2022). Furthermore, the dynamic campus project which is

long term cooperation between the China Government and Nike helps children develop their

potential in sports. The economic dynamics in Nike is exercised by the use of private contractors

in China to supply their products thus in the process create a sustainable environment for

business. A transformational leadership is required to attain such levels of corporate success.

The Technological dynamic of Nike has seen the organization in its strategies to use

innovations and an emphasis on research and development to become a more sustainable

company and stay ahead of competition. A visionary type of leadership ensures innovative ways

of production in a business.

In Summary, businesses need to embrace good leadership in order to maximize the

various business dynamics for their success. The business dynamics affect the daily running of

business operations. Therefore in order for a business to realize its full potential it needs to put

consistent efforts towards understanding the various dynamics. It is evident that leadership has

an influence on the business strategies.
