Instructions for the Examinees


oI The Examinations will be conducted strictly in accordance with the announced schedule. Examinees must ensure that they are aware of
the correct date. timing and venue of their Examination Centre.

02 Examinees must carry their Admit Cards which must be produced when demanded by the invigilators.

03 Entry into the Examination Hall would be permitted 45 minutes prior to the commencement of the examination. Entry in the Examination
Hall after 30 minutes of commencement of the examination would not be allowed. However, no extra time would be given to the late
coming examinees.

04 No exa minee would be allowed to .Ieave the Examination Hall within one hour of commencement of the examination. Examinees
who opt to leave the Examination Hall within two hours of commencement of the examination must hand over their Question Papers
to the invigilators ..

05 Examinees who have handed over their Answer Script to the invigilators would not be permitted to re-enter the Examination Hall under
any circumstances, whatsoever.

06 Examinees must sign the Attendance Sheet available with the Invigilators. Failure to sign the Attendance Sheet would render the Answer
Script void.

07 Examinees must write their Names, CRN and the subject, and place their signatures only on the designated area at the front page of
the Answer Script. Disclosure of the examinee's identity (Name, CRN, Address, Telephone No. or any other uncalled for remark s or
messages) at any other place in the Answer Script would lead to the disqualification of the examinee. In questions pertaining to writing
of letters, memos, reports, etc. aliases such as ABC, PQR and XYZ etc. should only be used. Examinees must ensure strict compl iance
with these instructions. The examinees should also keep in mind that any cutting or erasure on any part of the Answer Script other
than the front page, does not need to be authenticated by their signature as this would reveal their identity.

08 Examinees are required to sign on the Attendance Sheet each time they receive a supplementary Answer Script. They are also required to
write their CRN and place their signatures on the designated area at the front page of the supplementary Answer Script.

09 Any examinee found using unfair means would be expelled from the examination immediately. [n addition, the Examination
Committee may impose any other penalties as it may consider appropriate . For further details , please carefully read the
policy on use of unfair means available at the institute's website.
10 Examinees must observe strict silence in the Examination Hall. In order to draw the attention of any invigi lator or Centre Supervisor, the
examinee should raise his/her hand.

' ·1 The following materials are allowed to bring in the Examination Hall:
• Writing requisites such as pens, pencils, scale etc.
• Calculators: Examinees are allowed to bring the calculators specifically permitted by ICAP. For details of permissible

• Books are specifically allowed under the "Open Book Policy". For details of open book policy please visit:

l2 Examinees must strictly refrain from carrying any notes, books, mathematical tables, check lists, graphical exhibits and calculators with
programming functions or that can store or display text into the Examination Hall. Any examinee found in possession of the above in the
Examination Hall is liable for strict disciplinarily action for violation of examination regulations.

13 The examinees shall not be allowed to carry mobile phone, smart watch tablet, pager etc in the Examination Hall.

14 Examinees should not leave the Examination HaJi and must remain seated at their respective seats during the last fifteen minutes of the
examination and till all the answer scripts have been collected by the lnvigilators, after the examination.

15 [n the e,ent of any differences with the invigilator, the examinee should seek the intervention of the Centre Supervisor
i~mediately

16 ~xaminee may submit their feedback on examination question papers, examination facilities and/or any other matter relating to the
examinati~ns, on Feedback Form available with the Centre Supervisor.
