Prayers of the Faithful

Priest: Brothers and sisters, with the Holy Spirit in our hearts let us pray to
the heavenly Father, who wants all people to be saved in Christ, we
shall say:
“FATHER, HEAR OUR PRAYER.”

Reader:

1. That the church, through her leaders, bishops, priests and all the clergies,
may continue to exercise their faculties and pastoral authority towards leading its
brethren to the common good and accompany the people of God towards and act of
truth, charity and love. Let us pray to the Lord . . .

R… Father, Hear our Prayer

2. That the government leaders and officials, may remain consistent and
steadfast in doing their roles and responsibilities in serving the nation, and work
for better programs for the poor and the oppressed in our country and sustaining
the needs of its citizens towards a better future. Let us pray to the Lord . . .

R… Father, Hear our Prayer

3. That those who are sick, especially of Covid-19, those among us, our
relatives and friends and those who ask for our prayers. May the Lord assist them
in their suffering and grant consolation to their respective families. Let us pray to
the Lord….

4. That the School Administrators, Staff, Teaching Personnel and Stakeholders


be blessed for their hardwork for the betterment of the institution and for the
greater glory of God, through the intercession of St. Bernadette and Our Lady of
Lourdes, as its patroness. Let us pray to the Lord . . .

5. We thank God for the abundant blessings that SBCA has received for the
past 40 years. And with God's grace, the institution progressively paving its way
towards Rallying for Innovation, Sustainability and Excellence. Let us pray to the
Lord….

6. That the repose of the soul of our Beloved Faculty Member, Professor, and
Friend, Prof. Antonio Vargas, may rest in the abundance and eternal grace of God,
and may the Perpetual Light of Salvation be granted unto him. Let us pray to the
Lord…

6. In the silence of our hearts, let us now pray for the urgent concern of our
community and our personal intentions… (Pause for a while) Let us pray to the
Lord.
