Case Study Assignment - Google

1. Do you think Google's decision-making culture will help or hurt Google in the long run?

Google makes it easier to grow up for many years because of its solid principles and unique culture. In
the future, Google will always choose the company's decision-making culture, which is the only practical
and original way to help achieve Google's future goal. The way they prioritize their user's needs and
value their employees helps them be unique and compelling to work hard. That is why Google is one of
the world's most admired companies and ranks first as the "Best Place to Work For" because they put
first the company's strength. I know that an excellent company does not always have success but also
endured mistakes. Since Google would not change its culture and would not introduce any changes and
rules, I believe that Google's decision-making culture will still be more innovative and creative to its
users. Moreover, whatever happens in the future will not vanish or hurt Google for stabilizing culture.
Because they know their existence, and they know how for their users, customers, and everyone.

2. Do you see any challenges Google may face in the future because of its emphasis on risk-taking?

Yes, Google may face challenges soon, and it is hard to predict these challenges that it may bring to
Google while it encourages employees on risk-taking and innovation. Google may foresee competition
towards other companies and become terrible if they ignore competing and do not make decisions
ahead. Maybe Google will continue to work their current challenges to expand new fields outside of its
Web search engine and promote new ideas to improve and satisfy users and customers. The more they
emphasize risk-taking, the more they produce a progressive outcome while making decisions and
teamwork. I know that nothing much bigger challenges that Google may face in the future because
Google has the most desirable jobs and most competent employees. Furthermore, if they will face them,
according to Larry Page, they are always ready to forgive mistakes; he runs a company doing too much
than doing too little.
