The current study is based on the different work done in the past by various researchers and made a benefit for us to
understand the behaviour of different methodology for resisting lateral forces and allow us to elaborate their work. It is very
difficult to provide a detailed literature review related to RC braced frame structure here. Although there has been many
works modelled as RC braced frame system for analysis and design recommendations but it is not provided with an in-depth
study of the seismic response over the reinforced concrete (RC) structures contributions in relation with the steel bracing in a
skyscraper and many of the past efforts closely related to the needs of the present work. The present literature review
provided in this chapter focused on the uses of RC braced frame system in a reinforced concrete structure.
