Students experience having difficulty with career decisions.

Career indecision means that a student has a

hard time deciding their major or career, it is related to decision-making. It does not only happen when
deciding on a career, many students can be indecisive by deciding on their own. A theory that was
proposed about indecisiveness was that, indecisiveness is viewed as a long-time decision of a person’s
lifetime whether they made the decision they longed for. It is a process of time that wants an answer for
their choices, which takes adjustment on the different choices made. For this research we seek to help
students who are indecisive by helping them gain self-knowledge, giving information about different
careers and courses, helping them in their said careers, providing them with the responses of those in
their course, and others. Furthermore Indecisive can be viewed in different ways, Fuqua and Hartman
(1983) view career indecision as a normal task of development, yet other researchers see indecision as
related to serious psychological problems such as anxiety, self-perceptual

Difficulties, and externalized attributions. However, a solution can be made by consulting, relating to
those who inspire you, and embracing that being indecisive can only lead to time loss. It is said by
Gordon (1981) that an indecisive student is no different from a student who is committed to their own
decision whether it is demographic characteristics, reasons for education, and scope of occupational
interest, while students with their own decisions can be more passionate and indecisive student seek
counseling, and career plan choice. Indecisive students can have a fear of success as they are not sure
whether the course they pick can be beneficial and can support a family let alone themselves, it also
means that they are unsure of how much control they have over what happens to them. A student being
indecisive is caused by the pressure to be the best that they can be, for this reason, a student can make a
decision that later on can be realized that it was not the right one. There can be many different forms of
pressure such as being wealthy, successful, parental pressure, and others. A factor of these is the course
being too hard, not being enjoyable, loss of interest, wanting a different course, and can be related to
ego as you want to be the best at everything, the opinions of others outweigh personal judgment.
