Resort
Wear
Resort wear refers to a style of clothing and accessories that are specifically designed for warm-weather destinations such as beach
vacations, cruises, and tropical resorts. Resort wear is typically made from lightweight, breathable fabrics that are comfortable and
easy to wear in hot and humid conditions. This type of clothing is often characterised by bright colors, bold prints, and relaxed
silhouettes, and is designed to convey a relaxed and carefree vacation mindset. Resort wear is not only stylish but also functional, with
many pieces designed to be worn for specific activities such as swimming or dining outdoors. Overall, resort wear is an essential part
of any warm-weather wardrobe and can make any vacation feel even more special and memorable.

TYPES
of resort wear
RESORT CASUAL
"Resort casual" is typically appropriate for daytime wear. These are the outfits you wear while lounging by the pool or on the beach, or perhaps while grabbing a midday lunch at the
beach bar.

RESORT ELEGANT CASUAL

"This dress code usually refers to a casual dress code, but for evening wear. It's what you'd wear when you're going for a weeknight dinner with girlfriends or a weekend brunch.
Light, airy, and fun, it's sophisticated without feeling stuffy.

RESORT EVENING WEAR

While the difference between "eveningwear" and "elegant casual can be understated, it is real. Instead of a weeknight dinner, think a weekend date night with your partner. Rather
than a casual summer dress, opt for slightly more formal attire like a ruched silk dress or a flowing midi skirt paired with a blouse.

FORMAL RESORT ATTIRE

"Formal attire" in the dress code. Though less dressy than this standard may be on the mainland, cocktail-party attire is entirely appropriate. Typically reserved for holidays such as
New Year's Eve, as well as destination weddings, anything ranging from a maxi dress to an evening gown or pantsuit will suffice.

Market
Segment
Diffusion line:
The goal of a diffusion line is to offer consumers a more accessible option while still maintaining the prestige and aesthetic of the
primary brand. Diffusion lines often feature a more casual, wearable version of the high-end fashion brand's designs. The materials
used in diffusion lines may be less expensive, the designs may be simpler, and the production processes may be less intricate,
resulting in a lower price point.

Print Trends

Rad Plaid
Thanks to Bottega Veneta and
Ottolinger, plaid prints—the sort that
dominated my angsty teen wardrobe—
are back for 2023. The easiest way to
wear it is via a flannel shirt, akin to Kate
Moss, but designers also showcased
the motif in the form of floaty skirts and
fitted dresses.
Print Trends

Love Locked
This season's prettiest print trend is no
doubt the love hearts that decorated
the collections of Victoria Beckham,
Nensi Dojaka, Moschino and Paul &
Joe, which is already filtering into
plenty of new-in sections.
Print Trends

Seeing Spots
Having taken a bit of a back seat over
the past few seasons, polka dots are
back in a big way for 2023. This
season's exploration of the pattern is a
honed one, consisting of a largely
neutral or classic colour palette. With a
spotlight on variations in dot size and
fabrications, these are arguably the
chicest spotty clothes have ever
looked.
Print Trends

Blurred Lines
Tie-dye always makes a comeback as
we begin to approach the standard
"holiday" period, but, this year, blur
prints present a sleek alternative. The
trend was kickstarted by Loewe, whose
blur-print tube dress was worn by
Instagram's most-adept dressers and
Kendall Jenner alike. However,
designers such as Peter Do, Roksanda
and Jonathan Simkhai have taken it to
a whole new level with colour clashing
in luxe materials.
Print Trends

Painterly Florals
Florals are always in, but in lieu of
precise, photo-style prints, designers
including Dries Van Noten and Richard
Quinn have taken a more paintbrush-
and-easel approach with softer blooms
in watercolour finishes.
Print Trends

Strokes
The print that repeats itself most
regularly in my wardrobe is stripes, and
I'm wiling to bet that's the same for
many of you. For 2023, blocky, two-
tone stripes populated so many
collections I just know they're going to
be a thing.
BOND
A CONNECTION BETWEEN INNER SELF AND NATURE
CONCEPT NOTE

The concept of the bond between nature and

the inner self is rooted in the belief that
humans have an innate connection to the
natural world. This connection is believed to be
a source of healing and renewal, helping us to
connect with our inner selves and find peace
and harmony in our lives.

The inspiration for this fashion collection

comes from the beauty of nature and the idea
that our inner selves are intimately connected
to the natural world.

Each piece will be designed to be comfortable

and functional, allowing the wearer to feel at
ease and in tune with their surroundings.
