Class of 2024 Summer Math Assignments

Stay sharp this summer on IXL!

We’ve used IXL to reinforce our curriculum this year, and your child will continue to have free access to
the online program over the summer. With thousands of interactive skills, IXL is a fun way for your child
to keep their learning fresh. Just like students have summer reading, this year students are being
assigned IXL for continued practice.

Make sure your child signs into their school IXL account. That login information has been shared with
the students previously, as they’ve been using it all year.

Students should first complete the Diagnostic Arena.. Many students have done this previously, but
over the 3rd trimester’s work, their skills have improved. This will generate “recommended skills” for
the student to work on based on their identified strengths and weaknesses.

Students should then complete the list of appropriate grade-level skills based on the skill-plan posted in
the Google Classroom from their 2020-2021 Math teacher. Students who are new to Nashoba Tech,
should work on skills identified by IXL. All students should work on bringing at least five skills to the
mastery level.

Completing summer math work will be your first grade during the first trimester next year.
