PERFORMANCE TASK 01

COMPARING AND CONTRASTING INFORMATION BASED ON

ACCURACY AND EFFECTIVENESS [TOPIC: FEMINISM]

Since the topic was very broad, I would say that the articles
show the progress of feminism, as well as its history.

It generalized the topic and discussed the issue efficiently and

effectively, but also compared the past progress to today's
results

shows that the ancestor's hard work has not gone to waste as
equality between sexes and genders is slowly becoming more
apparent.

WOMAN HATING FEMINISM (STUDY CONDUCTED BY

MONICA PHAM

This article (or study) shadowed more on the "what" and "why".
This study talks about how many women seemed confused by
the real meaning of feminism.

Some people blur the lines between standing up for their basic
rights with hating men. Some women, in particular, are
confused by these moments.

COMPARING AND CONTRASTING INFORMATION BASED ON
ACCURACY AND EFFECTIVENESS [TOPIC: FEMINISM]

CONCLUSION

As I’ve read through both articles objectively, I can conclude

that no bias was formed, just different angles on a certain
topic, which is feminism.

As a student journalist, I could compare that one is angle-

based, and the other was more focused on the summary
and the generalization formed by the thought.

Both talk about serious issues or topics, which are sexism

and inequality. However, as time progressed, I learned that
some people think feminism revolves around having men.
But as we know, that is not the point of this movement.

Feminism revolves around raising equality for all genders

and sexes. It's main goal is to empower these people. It
shouldn't be just one sex dominating the other, but rather,
all genders and sexes have a standing about everything.
