chatty ecstatic moody outgoing overwhelmed pessimistic reluctant unconventional
At the start of the new term, my teacher asked me to work with Kyle, the new boy in the class, on a history project.
I was really 1 to work with him and tried to persuade the teacher to let me work alone. Kyle seemed
really 2 and a bit bad-tempered. I had tried to be friendly to him as I’m quite a(n) 3 person,
but I couldn’t get him to talk about anything except schoolwork. Looking back, I think maybe he was 4
by being in a new school with so many new people, but at the time, I felt 5 about working with him.
Over the year though, he slowly became more 6 and in the end he was a great person to work with.
At the end of the project, I was 7 to discover that we had got top marks. Our teacher said that we had
taken an 8 approach and our work was original and interesting. That was mostly thanks to my fantastic
partner, Kyle.
