Simple Present

Utilice el Presente Simple para expresar la idea de que una acción es repetida o usual. La acción
puede ser un hábito, un hobby, un evento diario, un evento programado o algo que a menudo
sucede.

Examples:

 I play tennis on weekends.(Yo juego tenis los fines de semana)

 The train leaves every morning at 8 AM. .(El tren sale cada mañana a las 8:A.M.)
 She always forgets her purse. .(Ella siempre olvida su cartera)

 He never forgets his wallet. .(Él nunca olvida su billetera)

 Rosa does exercise every morning. .(Rosa hace ejercicio todas las mañanas)

La conjugación en presente simple en Inglés es bastante fácil. El verbo solo cambia

cuando se conjuga en tercera persona (she, he, it). Generalmente se añade una “S” al
verbo al conjugarse en tercera persona. Con los demás pronombre el verbo NUNCA
cambia.

Casos especiales
Si el verbo termina en: CH, SS, SH, O, X, Z se le añade “es” al verbo en tercera persona (she,he,
it)

Examples:

She goes to school.

He watches television.

En caso de que un verbo termine con "Y" precedido por una consonante, entonces reemplazar
"Y" por "i" y agregar "es" al verbo.

Examples Si la “Y” esta precedida de vocal entonces solo se le aplica la

regla general de una “s”!

Recuerde que un verbo NUNCA cambia en oraciones negativas o interrogativas.

Examples:

Affirmative form> She goes to the beach every Saturday.

Negative form> She doesn’t go to the beach every Saturday

 Interrogative form> Does she go to the beach every Saturday?

El verbo TO BE y el verbo HAVE tienen conjugaciones irregulares.
