down another Player to collect their bounty, detailed
below.
Bounty Tiers and levels
Bounties are divided into tiers that directly relate to the
tiers of levels, E-rank, D-Rank, etc. When a PC is given a
bounty it cannot surpass their current Rank if its a PvP.
For narrative bounties DMs are strongly discourged
from allowing PCs to commit crimes that would land
them with a bounty outside of their rank.
For PvP bounties, a PC cannot be hunted by other PCs
that are not within 2 levels of them.
Finding a bounty
Searching for a player with a bounty requires to gather
an amout of lore equal to their “Notoriety”. Notoriety is
easily calculated as 5+ Player Rank (D rank 2, C rank 4,
B rank 6, A rank 8, S rank 10. etc)
Lore is gained as aprt of the “Research” downtime
activity that can be found in the Downtime chapter of
this book.
PvP
PvP as a result of a [PvP] marked bounty has a few
requirements that need to be met before any fighting
can take place.
1. A DM must be present. The DM should be an
impartial arbiter, and not someone with Bias twards
either party.
2. The official N5E PvP rules must be used
