Q1 a color – yellow and does not photosynthesis b – red low amounts

Q2 Organisms in the tube respire because they our living organisms for example A,B,C,D,E,F

Q4 a) Tube where you would expect carbon dioxide to be used: Tube C, containing maggots, would be
the place where you would expect carbon dioxide to be used. Maggots are the larvae of insects, and
they consume organic matter, including oxygen and sugars. As they consume sugars (which are produced
during photosynthesis), they would also use oxygen to perform cellular respiration and release carbon
dioxide as a byproduct.
b) Tube where you would expect carbon dioxide to be given out: Tube F, containing water plants and
maggots, would be the place where you would expect carbon dioxide to be given out. During
photosynthesis, plants use carbon dioxide from the surrounding environment to produce glucose and
oxygen. However, in the presence of light, the rate of photosynthesis exceeds the rate of respiration. As a
result, oxygen is primarily released, but carbon dioxide would still be given out as a byproduct of
respiration carried out by both the plants and the maggots
