Deadline for submission of 2024 GHP student nominations by independent

November 14, 2023
schools, state charter schools, and school districts.

November 17, 2023 Online application opens for student state level nominees.

Deadline for completed student online applications, including all required

January 8, 2024
documents and files.

February 2, 2024 Notification of semifinalists and interview/audition times.

February 9, 2024 Semifinalist Event interview/audition time selection.

February 24, 2024 Semifinalist Event at Georgia Southern University.

March 22, 2024 Notification of 2024 Finalists and Alternates.

April 12, 2024 Deadline for Finalists’ acceptance.

April 17, 2024 Parents/legal guardians emailed online link to required student forms.

May 4, 2024 Deadline for parent/legal guardian online completion of required student forms.

May 31, 2024 Last day for GOSA to invite Alternates.

June 16 – July 13, 2024 2024 Governor’s Honors Program at Georgia Southern University.
