Take - Home Assignment

Each group will be allocated one of the systems listed below. Assume that your group is
planning to develop the assigned system within a one-year timeframe. As part of this process,
you are required to prepare and submit a report that describes the system's overview,
requirements, and system modeling in a standard manner.

System 1 - A system that manages all clubs registered in the Science Faculty.

System 2 - An e-commerce system that focuses on Event Planning (Private and

Public Events).

System 3 - An online portal designed for job seekers and employers to connect and
find suitable employment opportunities.

System 4 - A transport reservation system for the staff of a particular company.

System 5 - An online tourist management system.

Note: Please refer to the provided Excel sheet to identify the systems allocated to each group.
CS 2002 Group Assignment

The evaluation is based on the following key criteria. Also please be informed that other
aspects such as Formatting, Clarity, and report structure/organization will also contribute to
the final mark.

1. Introduction

2. Feasibility Study

● Technical Feasibility
● Operational Feasibility
● Economical Feasibility
 ● Legal and Ethical Feasibility
● Schedule Feasibility ( Assume that you have to complete the project within a year)

3. Requirements

● Stakeholders (Actors)
● Use case diagrams
● Functional Requirements
● Quality Attributes and how to achieve those requirements.

4. System Modeling

● Activity diagrams / Business Process Models

● Sequence diagrams
● Class diagrams
● State transition diagrams

Important Instructions :

● Please make sure your report contains only the relevant information and details about
your system. Please don't make your report unnecessarily long and make it affect the
cohesion/clarity of your report.
● A group should submit only one copy of their report. Please name the document as
“Groupnumber.pdf” and submit it through the LMS.
● Any form of plagiarism is prohibited. It may result in heavy penalties or failure in
the assignment.
● Assignment Deadline: February 28, 2024, at 11:59 PM. There will be no extensions
under any circumstances.
