RESEARCH SUMMARY
RESEARCH TITLE Between Books and Beyond: Academic Performance Variances Among Mapúa
University Students with and without School Organization Connections
RESEARCH 1. To examine the correlation between academic performance and
OBJECTIVES achievements of Mapúa University students and their active involvement
in school organizations.

2. To investigate the academic performance and achievement level of


Mapúa University students who are not part of any school organization.

3. To explore whether there is a discernible correlation between


participation in school organizations and academic success among
Mapúa University students and identifies the contributing factors to this
correlation.

VARIABLES USED Regression, QWA, R-Squared, SALT, School Organization, Two-Sample t-test
METHODOLOGY Observation Method using Standardized Test for Determination of Stress Levels
TYPE OF TEST USED Two-sample t-tests, linear regression using Statistical Analysis and
Learning Tool (SALT), and the examination of demographic distribution
among 100 respondents.
CONCLUSION There is no significant correlation between active involvement in school
organizations and the academic performance of Mapúa University students.
RECOMMENDATION Further explore into the factors influencing the relationship between school
organization involvement and academic performance
