1. A square plate of side π units occupying the region 0 ≤ x ≤ π, 0 ≤ y ≤ π has its edges
x = 0, x = π, y = π insulated. The side y = 0 is kept at temperature u(x, 0) = x, 0 < x < π.

Find the steady state temperature distribution in the plate.
