Regions: The Southeast Portfolio Directions

Directions:

Imagine you are taking a trip through the Southeast. For this portfolio, you will preserve
your memories of the Southeast in a travel scrapbook. You will create a separate page for
each of the following:

● Climate of the Southeast

● Places in the Southeast (may include rural, suburban, or urban places)
● People in the Southeast (past or present, famous, or people who represent a
group, for example: farmers)
● Resources in the Southeast

Creating a Scrapbook Page

1. Label each page with a heading: Climate, Places, People, or Resources.

2. Select at least two photographs, drawings, maps, or images that show
important information about each page in the scrapbook.

You may conduct a safe search on the internet or visit your local library to find information.

For each image, create a caption to identify and describe what is shown. Include
at least two facts about the image and explain what it tells about the Southeast.

Your scrapbook could be done in a powerpoint presentation or google slide, or on paper!
