To Whom It May Concern

It is a great pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Rona Asfaw, who has been my
student in my Chemistry classes of Grade 9 and 10 in the High School and Grades 11 and 12 in
the Pre-university Preparatory program, since 2019 at One Planet International School.
Rona is one of the few outstanding students whom every teacher wants to have in his class as she
always demonstrates an exemplary character which is rare these days. She is humble, modest,
respectful, reserved from ordinary talks; but when it comes to presenting her ideas on various
issues, she has extraordinary communicative skill to do so coherently with great eloquence.
Rona is a thorough listener, attentive and well-focused on whatever she is doing. She is a kind of
student who doesn’t want to show off. Whatever she does has a certain meaningful purpose
attached to it.
Rona has excellent communication skills. However, she never wants to show off unless
situations strongly demanded to use her skills. She doesn’t have any problem to present her point
on various issues eloquently. She always impresses me with her written work, which is both
clear and concise, as well as interesting to read. She also demonstrated good teamwork skills in
group discussions and group assignments.
As a science, Rona is a well-organized, punctual, persevering, humble and hard-working student
with a sociable personality. She goes extra-miles beyond the course expectations in the quantity
and quality of her classwork, homework, assignment and project works, putting in a lot of extra
effort. Throughout the course, Rona demonstrated great resolution and passion in the course of
learning new ideas and concepts. She always strives to assimilate whatever she learns into her
life experience.
Rona’s proven perseverance, initiative, and intellectual creativity makes her the best candidate
any undergraduate program in any science discipline. Without any reservation, I would highly
recommend Rona to your university as she would be an extremely positive asset to your
program.
