Types of Angles

Direction
The vertical lines: go straight up, like the lines in the corners of the classroom between two
walls.such as the edge of a table leg, the side edge of a door or a cupboard, the side of the
board or a window.
The horizontal lines :are always level with the floor, like the lines between the walls and the
floor of the classroom. Ask learners to identify other horizontal lines, such as the edge of a
table top, the top of a door or a cupboard, the top of the board or a window.
