In practice, calculating these values precisely can be complex, and online advertising platforms

platform's algorithms handle the bidding and ad placements. It's important to note that there
are various bidding strategies beyond VCG, including cost-per-click (CPC), cost-per-mille
(CPM), and cost-per- acquisition (CPA) bidding, where advertisers pay based on clicks,
impressions, or conversions.

These strategies allow advertisers to optimise their campaigns based on different objectives
and key performance indicators.
